Do I need glass to protect my print?
No, not at all! You hang our canvases on the wall just like you would any original artwork. That is one of the great features of our canvas prints. To maintain and increase the lifespan of your canvas, avoid exposing your canvas to direct sunlight or moisture. This will ensure that your canvas will look great for years to come.
How do I care for my canvas?
A protective coating is applied over top the canvas image making it possible to clean it with a soft damp cloth.
Will you only accept digital images and files?
We accept ALL kind of photos and images! Whether you have a digital camera file, colour prints, negatives or black and white photographs, we have the processes to convert them all into stunning and beautiful canvas prints, ready to hang. We can scan your negatives, slides or any traditional photo and return them to you with your photo canvas order. Our high resolution scanner is able to scan photographs up to 11 x 14 inches.
NOTE: Due to the wide variance in the print quality from home ink jet printers, we cannot guarantee that the finished canvas print will meet your expectations. Please send us a high quality scan of the original (300 dpi minimum), an original print from the photo finisher or the digital file if you have it.
Do you use paint on the canvas?
No. My Photos on Canvas uses the most advanced printing technology available to create your lasting memories. And because it's not paint, your picture will not warp or chip for years to come.
Can a canvas be round or oval?
We do not currently offer this.
Can I see the picture before you put it on canvas?
Yes! As part of our ongoing service, we offer FREE image proofs before we print your photos on canvas. This will be e-mailed to you as a digital .PDF file.
Do you make larger canvases or special sizes?
Yes. We can adjust for most sizes. Please contact us for a quote at info@myphotosoncanvas.ca
Do you offer gift certificates?
We sure do! Gift certificates are available upon request.
Do you ship internationally?
No, not at this time. We ship anywhere in Canada.
Do you have a retail store that we can visit?
My Photos on Canvas is an online retailer. Occasionally, we may attend trade fairs for the public.
What is the cost of shipping and handling?
All items are carefully wrapped in protective foam and packaged to prevent damage during transit, then shipped by ground via FedEx. Shipping charges are based on destination, size and total weight of the package. Please contact us for a quote at info@myphotosoncanvas.ca.
Will you ship to P.O. boxes?
No, not at this time.
How long will it take to receive my order?
We ship in Canada within 7-10 business days from receipt of full payment.
Can I have the finished canvas delivered to someone else?
Yes. We can ship to a different address other than your own anywhere within Canada. Please ensure to complete the shipping and billing address on our on-line order form. We will not contact the recipient. If this is a surprise, your secret is safe with us!
Will I be charged sales tax?
My Photos on Canvas operates in the Province of Ontario and therefore we are required to collect Provincial Sales Tax (PST) at a rate of 8% on orders shipped to an Ontario address. Our prices include the Goods and Services Tax (GST).
How can your prices be so low?
We are a small business with low overhead and labor costs therefore allowing us to use the highest quality materials and equipment. We do not advertise but depend on the internet, repeat customers and referrals for our business.
